Dont Let Facebook Destroy Your Relationship

Todays article Dont Let Facebook Destroy Your Relationship is relevant for most of us because we do spend more and more time online and it could spoil a relationship. Giving our partner attention is very important. Giving each other time without television, computer and phones are highly recommended in order to keep the passion alive.

Social networking has become the all the rage in recent years and Facebook seems to be at the top of the chain, surpassing the once very popular MySpace. Now, it seems that everyone and their grandmother has a personal Facebook page. Many people also set up pages on Facebook to get the word out about their businesses. There’s almost nothing that you can’t find on Facebook.

While there are many great aspects of Facebook, there’s one really negative one. People get addicted to being on Facebook. They like to read the updates and look at photos of their friends. There are also various types of games that are designed to be addictive and draw in the members of the network. It’s also easy to stalk your ex as well as other people for different reasons. The only thing that will possibly stop you from being able to check up on what others are doing anonymously is through the different levels of security that members can attach to their pages.

Dont Let Facebook Destroy Your Relationship

The thing about Facebook that can destroy relationships is the same very addictive quality that draws people to it. Games found on Facebook are the worst when it comes to addiction. That’s not to say that playing them isn’t a lot of fun, because it really is. The problem comes in when someone is so addicted to playing these games that they refuse to get off of the computer. Too many people find it easy to spend hours and hours at a time on the Facebook site playing all of the various games that they’ve become involved. This include those that are in romantic relationships. Instead of spending time with their partner, they’re sitting glued to the computer playing their favorite games. Their partner, on the other hand, is sitting alone watching television or reading a book. Worse yet, they may even be sleeping alone while Facebook gets in the way of having a romantic night.

Another thing that people really need to do is stop checking their Facebook page while out on a date with their partner. There are few things ruder than interrupting a dinner conversation to check your cellphone when it dings with another update. Of course, once you read the update, it’s got to be responded to, which can lead to other updates, and so on. If you’re in the habit of doing that when you’re supposed to be spending the evening with your partner, don’t be surprised at all to finally look up from your phone to find that your partner has left and you’re sitting all alone. Well, you and your phone, anyway.

If you’re one of those Facebook addicts, you may want to re-think things because, if you don’t, your relationship could fall victim to this addiction and you’ll find yourself all alone. No one is going to put up with playing second fiddle to a social networking site, and the sooner that soaks in, the better your relationship will become.

Thanks for reading through todays article Dont Let Facebook Destroy Your Relationship and i wish you the best with your relationship!
